these days can make it hard to pin point the right tool for the job. Theodolites are all about Angles and Lines to get you the Precision Accuracy needed on your next Project. They are the preferred tool for Serious Engineering, Builders, Construction, Drainage, Line Boring and Fencing Contractors.

Theodolites are either Optical, Digital or Laser.

The choice you make with these items depends entirely on your Budget and The Accuracy you are required to achieve. The basic optical models are cost effective and great for Fencing, Drainage, Line & Grade work.

The Digital Range have been welcomed over the years by the Likes of Engineering, Building, Line Boring and Construction Trades. They are Fast, Easy to use and Accurate. Theodolites are not Total Stations which are commonly used by Surveyors, however they can be used in conjunction with an EDM to shoot distances and Optical Eyepieces to obtain greater angles in the vertical positions or in confined spaces where there is little area to move.

Laser Theodolites are basically a digital theodolite with a long range laser targeting system.

Now that I have cleared that up??? Feel free to drop me an email with your budget and application and I can narrow your choice for you.

Enjoy your day

Chris Sharpe
chris@lasertools.com.au

GPS Overview Page

GPS Definition: "Global Positioning System: A worldwide radio-navigation system that was developed by the US. This tutorial is designed to give you a good basic understanding of the principles behind GPS without loading you down with too much technical detail.
We recommend that you follow the tutorial in the order it's presented, especially the "How GPS works" section.
